Practice / About

Buildings that hold their place.

Since 2011 the practice has grown into a firm of specialist studios, building across India — from hospitals and schools to offices, hotels, homes, and factories. We do not chase a single typology. A brief arrives; the right team picks it up and stays with it until the building stands.

This page is not a manifesto. It is a few short statements about how the work gets made — what we hold to, and how we work — followed by the record of the practice. Everything else is in the catalog.

01 — Belief

The work is the case.

A building takes three years to make and another fifty to be judged. We do not write about the work; we let it be visited. The website is an index of completed projects, not a manifesto.

Referral prospects are usually told about the practice by a colleague. By the time they reach us, the question is no longer "are you serious" — it is "will you take this one." The site is built to answer that.

02 — Method

Partner-led, organised as specialist studios.

The practice is partner-led and organised into specialist studios — healthcare, commercial, hospitality, retail, residential, institutional, and industrial work — supported by in-house teams for structural design, services, quantity surveying, and visualisation. Each project sits with the studio that knows its building type.

It is the simplest answer to the question we are asked most: who will actually do the work. The answer is a partner and a team who have built that kind of building before.

03 — Register

Plain materials. Specific facts. No adjectives.

We keep the work plain and let it do the explaining. Materials are chosen to suit the place and to age well, not to follow a trend.

The same is true of how we describe a building: we cite built-up area, completion year, and location, and leave the adjectives out. The buildings explain themselves; the captions exist to point.

04 — Discipline

If we cannot stand by it, we do not build it.

We put our name to what we build. The catalog is the record, and a walkthrough invitation stands behind any building in it.

Some of the detail — fees, budgets, the specifics of a brief — is better discussed directly than published. The website shows the commitments; the conversation does the rest.
